Established in the year 2007, Government First Grade College, Madikeri is an affiliated first Grade college situated at Kodagu of Karnataka. This is an educational institution located in the beautiful town of Madikeri has been in existent and providing education to the community for more than a decade now. The college covers an area of 2 acres thus enhancing proper learning environment for the students. This college has a strength of 285 students and faculty members are 9 having a proper student teacher ratio and providing quality education.

Government First Grade College boasts of having provided for the convenience of students by ensuring they provide many facilities to complement their educations. Those interested in sports have the opportunity to use the college’s sports complex far as their sport preferences are concerned. The available rich library acts as a knowledge center and as a result offers students various essentials needed for learning. The B.Com programme and the B.Com Computer Applications programme can accommodate only 80 students combined, with 40 seats for each course. These are educational courses intended to prepare the students with good knowledge in commerce with Computer Applications further preparing the students on how to handle technology in business.
