The Government First Grade College, Napoklu ,established in 2002 is an affiliated college located at Kodagu Karnataka. This institution is a co-educational that is based on 10-acres land and that provides education intermixed with the natural scenery. It has a total of 98 students enroled at the college currently it has 8 active members of the teaching staff. Emphasising on quality education the college has two Under Graduate courses  in Commerce and arts streams.

Government First Grade College boasts of the following amenities in an attempt to improve on the student journey. The college has a canteen, which offers balanced meals to the students at a relatively low price so that student can afford to have a decent meal during their school day. As for the health of the student there is a medical that provides for the general health needs of the students. The college also has separate hostels for boys and girls to ensure those who travel long distances are comfortable. An auditorium is dedicated to hosting several occasions and seminars, and subsequently contributes to the active student experience. Government First Grade College, Napoklu provides a variety of 2 full-time undergraduate programmes. These are a B.Com programme, and two B.A programmes with options in History, Economics and Political Science, History, Economics and sociology. All these programmes are meant to be run for a period of 3 years.
