GFGC Shankaranarayana is a government-first-grade college with great old standing in Kundapura Taluk in Udupi District-Karnataka. GFGC Shankaranarayana is thus a diversified college that offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in much varietal field. The general admission process of GFGC Shankaranarayana is user-friendly and simple for all aspiring applicants. GFGC admission is on merit and based on the results exhibited by students during their qualifying examinations in terms of the total score.

The application process carried out for admissions into GFGC Shankaranarayana includes:

• When students are to be enlisted into the college, it will come with an admission prompt message to the official website of the college and local newspapers for the public use. 
• Candidates can fill out the application form either from the college office or download it from the official website.
• Applicants must fill the application form with accurate personal and academic details.
• Also to be submitted with the now complete application form will be the credentials.
• Application completed along with other necessary documents should be submitted to the college admission office with the deadline given.
• College prepares a merit list of students based on the performance of applicants in their qualifying examinations.

B.A. (Bachelor of Arts): Two B.A. programmes offered by the college are:

• B.A. in History, Economics, and Optional Kannada
• B.A. in History, Economics, and Political Science

GFGC B.Com Admission Process

B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce): B.Com course of GFGC Shankaranarayana is targeted to initiate students towards commerce and business sectors. Admission is based on a merit list prepared according to marks scored in 12th standard with preference given to students of the Commerce stream.

GFGC BBA Admission Process

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): The BBA degree aims students aspiring for a management career. It considers the academic score in 12th standard with subjects relating to commerce and mathematics.

GFGC M.Com Admission Process

M.Com (Master of Commerce): For the postgraduate M.Com programmes, the requirement for admission relies mostly on the qualifying score attained from the bachelor's degree (preferably B.Com) or equivalent. The college may conduct an entrance test or interview for shortlisting candidates.

• Caste certificate, if applicable.
