Affiliated college Government Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh College, Kabirdham started in the year of 1989 is situated at Sahaspur Lohara, Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh. This institution, occupies a 10 acre land area has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) a sign of quality education. The college currently only provides four degrees in different fields for its 976 enrolment students. Having now a faculty strength of 4,the college retains its policy of maintaining small classroom sizes to enhance individual attention, and quality education. 

Government Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh College’s vast offer of full-time courses in arts, commerce and sciences at both undergraduates and postgraduate niveau. They include; Thus the college has a mini- library, a host of laboratories, computer laboratory, departmental seminar rooms, and language laboratory among others, which are aimed at improving the learning process of the learners. Sports department is significant for students’ physical and psychological training and organises practice sessions and College and University sports meets for participation by student. College library acts as one of the most important resource centre from where students can get all sorts of academic material.

These include the following; There are three under part programmes which take three years each. B.Com, B.Sc, B.A and a master’s programme in history which will take a two year’s duration, MA history.
