Government Girls College Baran is an education college in Baran Rajasthan which was set up in 1995. NAAC affiliated college for female students is very much committed to offer quality education to the female students. The college is cosely located on a 11 acre plot of land and currently offers undergraduate and post graduate courses in various fields. The institution has a total number of students as 1,358 and out of 9 faculty members. Those 8 courses are delivered across 3 degrees of college, arts, sciences and humanities.

The college has Jacobson Student Center and Rec Center which provides many facilities for the improvement of education of students. The library with books in excess of seven thousand is used for learning, and covers a vast area of knowledge.
