Government Girls Post Graduate College, Ujjain (GGPGC) is a recognized college for women which came into existence in 1958 at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. This associated college started in a 7.08 acre area is committed to impart quality education to female students only. The college is accredited with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which shows its regulation of administering good standard education. A total of 2,307 students and 41 members of the faculty, the college provides 27 courses across 6 degree programmes in arts, commerce, science.
To support the various academic activities, Government Girls Post Graduate College has various Installations and facilities that are somewhat modern. It is a smart librarians equipped library that contains more than fifty thousand books and twenty one computers to facilitate slow and effective search of books and other computer aided activities. The campus is wireless connected, enabling students to have internet connection for their learning requirements. GGPGC also provides sophisticated laboratory for the practical sessions to make the students practical sensitized.
