Government GNA PG College, Bhatapara Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College library is the heart of any academic institution of higher learning. It plays a significant role in the pursuit of academic excellence. The college library named Swami Vivekanand Library was established in the year 2009 with approx 3000 books. The library is situated on the ground floor with a seating capacity of 25 users. The library presently processes around 15400 Books.    

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

Also, a gym is available in the college for fitness which is used by students, teachers, and staff.  

The college has adequate sports facilities in which proper infrastructure outdoors and indoors is available in a fully developed form. Sufficient funds are received from the government every year for sports facilities and competitions, due to which sports activities continue in the month. The college has indoor games like badminton, table tennis, carrom, chess, etc. In addition to kabaddi, judo mat outdoor games, netball, volleyball, hockey, basketball, Kho-Kho, kabaddi cricket, football, lawn tennis, etc. have adequate facilities for sports. 

The College has a big campus and a huge number of students enrolled in a year because various cultural activities and seminars function organized by all departments. Therefore it is realized to need a big passage for seating more audience. As a consequence, our college committees proposed to the state government for auditorium building. The government takes the initiative in our plan and sanctioned an auditorium building for a college campus. Today we have an auditorium with a capacity of 450 seats.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.

The College hostel is situated on the college campus, within the boundary of a college campus. The hostel has no warden and no caretaker, the proposal is sent to the higher education department of the state govt. after the allotment of the post of hostel warden and attendant. The college will soon start a hostel for female students with full facilities and security. The application from the girls students is invited by the administration and will soon start the boarding for students.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The college also provides extracurricular activities like NSS and NCC.
