Government Homoeopathic Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram founded in the year 1983 is one of the leading homoeopathy institution in the kerala state . This college is an affiliated college in Thiruvananthapuram has an area of 11 acres engulfing its campus which provides a proper environment for learning. Recognised by the Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH) the college offers quality homoeopathic education. With approximately 313 students and 32 faculty members the institute has focused on individual attention and quality education. The college has 5 courses but in two degree programmes and focuses on different aspects of homoeopathic systems of medicine.

Government Homoeopathic Medical College has elaborate facilities for the college that are essential for carrying out its academic activities. Several book shelves stocked up with different books make up a good library that provides different materials for the students as well as the faculty. There are also ways in which the campus is set up, having different hostels for boys and girls to facilitate out-station students. Government Homoeopathic Medical College follows the policy of giving admission through national level entrance examinations. The NEET is used for the admission of the BHMS programme respectively. For admission of postgraduate in the MD programmes, the admission is taken through ‘All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test’ known as AIAPGET.
