Government Model Degree College, Zanskar Kargil, was started in the year of 2013 and it falls under the affiliated college situated in Zanskar, Ladakh. The college is affiliated with Kashmir University. This institution is located at an altitude of 3,600 metres in one of the most remote regions of India. The college is located on a 12.5 acre campus and has a total of 36 students and ten faculty members. It provides four undergraduate programmes under three degrees to best suit students’ academic needs.
