Government Polytechnic Bagepalli is a government technical education institution that was established in the year 1996. The college is affiliated with the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore (DTE) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Government Polytechnic Bagepalli offers three-year diploma courses such as Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering and Diploma in Automobile Engineering and Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Government Polytechnic Bagepalli's eligibility criteria for admission to the diploma courses are based on merit in previous qualifying examinations.
