Government Polytechnic Baghpat is a government diploma institution located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The college is also known as Government Polytechnic Kirthal. The institute was established in the year 2016. Government Polytechnic, Kirthal, Baghpat has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The college is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education. The college boasts of good arrangement of electricity, drinking water, CCTV cameras for providing a safe and apt learning environment to students. 

At present, the college offers three diploma courses for admission in mechanical engineering, electronics engineering and electrical engineering. The institute accepts admission on the basis of the JEECUP entrance exam. Candidates who appear for the exam will be eligible for admissions through JEECUP counselling. Talking about the facilities available at the college, the college has four hostels, three for boys and one for girls. The hostel can accommodate a total of 410 students.
