Government Polytechnic Banda is an affiliated college of Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Lucknow. It was established in 1984 and approved by AICTE. GP Banda courses include three diploma programs in Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering Industrial Control with an intake of 60 students each. GP Banda eligibility criteria for admission is that the candidates must have passed class 10th or equivalent with at least 35% marks in aggregate. GP Banda admissions are based on the performance of the candidates in the Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) conducted by the board.
