Government Polytechnic, Channasandra was established in 2009. It is affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore. The college is located 11 kms away from the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Airport, Bengaluru and 36 kms from the Kempegowda International Airport. The distance between the campus and the Whitefield railway station is 2.9 kms. Candidates can also travel in local public transport buses to the campus.
