Government Polytechnic College Budgam is affiliated college instituted in 2012 at Nagam-Chadoora Budgam,Kashmir. This is a technical institution which is accredited by All India council for technical education, AICTE that provides diploma courses in different engineering fields. The college is currently located in 7.5 acres and these have the total student intake of 260 and faculties strength of 5. As for now, revealed courses offered by the Government Polytechnic College, Budgam are two, full-time diploma courses spanning three years, and offered in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering respectively.

The college has endeavored to ensure that students have basic amenities in their studies to enable them succeed.
