    Government Polytechnic College Mattanur was started during the year 1994 and this is situated at Kannur, Kerala. The college is located on a large area of 9.686 acres and has a total enrolment of students 514 and faculty of 18 staff members. For its technical focus the institute offers five Diploma courses at the specialised level to meet the interests of learners in engineering discipline.

    The Government Polytechnic College is fairly well provided with all the requisite amenities that are essential to help the students in their all round development.
