Government Polytechnic for Women Nandigama (GPW Nandigama) was established in the year of 1988. This government polytechnic college is a women’s institute offering engineering and architectural course situated in Nandigama, Andhra Pradesh. Recognised by the College of State Board of Technical Education and Training Hyderabad, GPW Nandigama is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute occupies a 10 acres area and it has offered two diploma programmes with total enrolment of 161 students. It has a strength of 15 faculties and the faculties focus on the student-focused education and thereby, GPW Nandigama has a great student faculty ratio. 

Government Polytechnic for Women Nandigama offers students several necessary and new age amenities that can help the student groom into a responsible personalities. The institute boasts of ultramodern labs, capable of allowing students practical experience in vocation that they embark on, in their careers. GPW Nandigama keeps its programmes simple and affordable and it offer two 3-years full time diploma programmes. The two programmes are Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering and another, Commercial and Computer Practise each being offered to 40 students. These courses are aimed at equipping the students the right knowledge base in each of their respective fields to succeed in the ever dynamic technological world. 

The admission procedure in GPW Nandigama is merit based though there is AP POLYCET rankings as well.
