Government Polytechnic, Hamirpur, is a technical education institute located in Himachal Pradesh, India. Established in 1963, the college provides diploma courses in various branches of engineering and technology. GPCH is affiliated with the Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). 

GPCH has prepared eligibility criteria for diploma courses, which candidates have to check before applying. The GPCH diploma admissions are based on the Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test (HP PAT) examination score. The Government Polytechnic College has well-equipped laboratories, workshops, a library and a computer centre. The Government Polytechnic College also provides hostel facilities for students. The Government Polytechnic College has a dedicated placement cell that helps students find suitable jobs in reputed companies. The GPCH  also organises various extra-curricular activities and events for the overall development of the students.
