Government Polytechnic, Hamirpur, is a technical education institute located in Himachal Pradesh, India. Established in 1963, the college provides diploma courses in various branches of engineering and technology. GPCH is affiliated to the  Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). GPCH has prepared eligibility criteria for diploma courses, which candidates have to check before applying. The GPCH diploma admissions are based on the Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test (HP PAT) examination score.

The railway stations nearest to Hamirpur are Una (on the broad gauge line), Amb on the broad gauge line, and Jawalamukhi road on the narrow gauge line.
