Government Polytechnic, Hamirpur, is committed to providing its students with a comprehensive range of facilities to ensure their academic success and overall well-being. The Government Polytechnic facilities are well-equipped with modern laboratories, workshops, and computer centres. GPCH also boasts a library with a vast collection of books, journals, and periodicals. Furthermore, the GPCH facilities provide excellent sports facilities such as a swimming pool, a gymnasium, and a basketball court.

The GPCH facilities also organise various extracurricular activities such as debates, seminars, and workshops to promote the overall development of students. The Government Polytechnic also provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls with all the necessary amenities.

Library
The institution has its own central library which contains large numbers of books, pertaining to different courses, the latest journals, technical and nontechnical magazines, newspapers (English & Hindi). In order to help, the students belonging to a low-income group and deprived classes the institution provides a free book bank facility. More than 150 nos. of students are being benefited in each semester by this facility. The library is fully computerized and an internet facility is also available. In order to access the information easily about the books, a Kiosk with Library Automation Software has been provided. The Internet Facility has been provided in the library and is also connected to the local area network. The library has also been facilitated with a Photostat machine where students can get photo state copies by paying the nominal amount. The books reservation facility has been extended to students and faculty members. The latest years have been procured in the library. The library has sufficient space and furniture to cater to the needs of the students.
