Government Polytechnic, Kashipur (GPK) was established in 1975 as one of the most efficient institutes in Uttarakhand. Kashipur polytechnic is affiliated to Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee. Every year, an entrance exam called JEEP is conducted by UBTER, Roorkee. Students are selected for Kashipur Govt. Polytechnic through counseling based on their JEEP rank. Govt. Polytechnic Kashipur offers various diploma courses in engineering and technology, such as Computer Science, Agricultural Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics Engineering.
