Government Polytechnic Murtizapur was established in 2009 with a vision for social transformation and upliftment of rural masses through quality Technical education. Situated on NH-6, Government Polytechnic Murtizapur is spread over an area of 20.8 acres. Being a government-owned college, it is the most affordable Polytechnic college in the Akola district.
Having got ‘Excellent’ ratings for our departments on many occasions from MSBTE, we believe in the philosophy of giving equal opportunities to students from all walks of life and to train them into a manner that when they venture out on their own, they not only make their careers but serve the society as well. The Government Polytechnic Murtizapur admission offers Diploma programmes in five streams which are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Information Technology, and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
