About Government Polytechnic, Purnea
Government Polytechnic Purnea was established in 2012 by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), formerly known as the Department of Science, Technology & Technical Education (DSTTE), Government of Bihar. GP Purnea is affiliated with the State Board of Technical Education (SBTE) Patna. Government Polytechnic Purnea is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Government Polytechnic Purnea offers Diploma programmes in the engineering and architecture fields. Admission to GP Purnea is based on Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. For lateral admissions, candidates must appear DCECE LE exam.

Our college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment .The facilities in our laboratories, libraries ,sports centres and hostels are good.All are used and well maintained.The living spaces are clean and foods are hygienic.
