Government Polytechnic, Sitamarhi, also known as GP Sitamarhi, is a state-run technical institute located in the Sitamarhi district of Bihar. G P Sitamarhi is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education, Bihar. The Govt Polytechnic Sitamarhi offers a variety of diploma courses in several engineering disciplines. The G P Sitamarhi courses include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. G P Sitamarhi admission process is based on the merit of the candidates in the Bihar Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). To meet the G P Sitamarhi Eligibility Criteria, candidates must have successfully completed their 10th or an equivalent examination with a minimum score of 35% from a recognised board. They can then apply for the DCECE.
