About Government Polytechnic, Srikakulam
Government Polytechnic, Srikakulam was established in the year 1961. Initially the institute started with three diploma courses Civil , Electrical & Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. Later, in the year 1975 a non-engineering course was added by the institute. Then in 2008, the institute also added a Diploma in Computer Science in its courses list. At present, the institute offers total five diploma courses for admissions. The institute is spread over an area of 16 acres. Admissions at the institute are done on the basis of AP POLYCET exam.
