The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai, offers a three-year, full-time Diploma in Information Technology that has been recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Clearing the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)/10th standard/equivalent test in Science and Maths subjects is the minimum requirement for entrance to a diploma programme.
The total number of seats available are 60.

Hello student there's no minimum percentage criteria for admission. Eligibility criteria says - Candidates must obtain secondary school leaving certificate (SSLC) /Class 10 or equivalent with science and Mathematics subject.

government polytechnic , thane is a prestigious college to pursue diploma courses. if you are a 10th pass candidates from a recognized board, you may get admission based on your 10th score, so first of all you need to apply for the diploma admission in DTE (directorate of technical education), maharastra website. if you are 10+2 pass out you may directly apply for diploma course from second year. follow the below link to know in details,

Yes Government Polytechnic, Thane has a boy's hostel inside the premises. It's a three storey building with 20 rooms and capacity of 100 students. The fee structure is around 25 thousand per year. Regarding the food quality, there is no hostel in this world which will make good food and that is why you have canteen available and Maggie
