Govt Polatechnic, Vikarabad which commenced in the year 2008 is one of the highly recognized technical colleges situated in Kompally, Vikarabad, Telangana. This affiliated college recognized by all India council for Technical Education (AICTE) is offering good education in the field of engineering. Situated in a large 8 acre plot of land, the institute has an intaken capacity of 277 students and 11 dedicated faculty members at present. The Government Polytechnic, Vikarabad follows a total technical education and offers three full-time diploma courses in Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Current intake capacity at the institute is 180 students for all courses and every course shall accommodate 60 students.
