Government Post Graduate College, Khargone (GPGC Khargone) is an existing college situated in Khargone city of Madhya Pradesh. This affiliated college was established in 1958 and has been catering the need of the academic professionals for more than half a century. Located in spread across 11 acres of land GPGC Khargone provides a multitude of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different fields of study. The college has been accredited with National Assessment and Accreditation Council India abbreviated as NAAC, proving its educational endeavors were in compliance with standards set by the government of India.

Gandhinagar Pallavi Group of Colleges, Khargone, has a strong academic base which includes total students strength with 7875 for the session 2022. In terms of gender, a college shows good concern toward diversity as the female students make 56% of the total undergraduate and 70% of the postgraduate students. There field of specialization is diverse, which provides 31 courses under the 9 degree programs to cater for any interested partaker. Forty-seven members of the faculty make a dedicated team of teachers and the learner-teacher ratio is maintained at optimal levels. The college has adequate equipments that have been disapproved to improve the learning environment of the students. A good library should contain about 45,500 books with collection spread over every field and department. It remains a major supplier of reference journals, magazines and newspapers besides offering a comfortable reading section. For technology-driven education, GPGC Khargone has a total of 135 computers in departments, LCD projectors, smart boards, and a 10 Mbps internet connection. This institution also provide a hostel for the boys, the capacity is 25 and a hostel for girls with the capacity of 85.

GPGC Khargone needed to serve a variety of programs in undergraduate and postgraduate level. Some of the entity courses include; Bachelor of Art with 600, Bachelor of Science in chemistry with 480, Bachelor of commerce with 120 and Science in physics with 160. At the Post Graduate level, the college consists of M.A streams namely: Hindi Lit., English Literature, Political Science & Economics having a strength of 80 seats each while M.A. Geography has intake capacity of 40 students only. The college also offers M.Sc in several science streams and an M.Com with 120 seats of intake.

Like talents and abilities, admission to learning in GPGC Khargone is free and open to all deserving candidates. They are numerous students whose fees are reimbursed indicating that the institution has a great concern of economically disadvantaged students. For the 2022 academic year, 5,017 undergraduate students and 1,929 postgraduate students were awarded financial aid among the total 5,683 undergraduate students and 2,192 postgraduate students.
