Government Rani Durgawati College, Balrampur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College library was established in 1989 to facilitate access for regular students. The library acts learning resource center for the teaching and research programs of 4 faculty and 16 departments. Govt. Rani Durgawati College library has a rich collection of books. The total collection of a library well exceeds 9000+ books and book bank textbooks. It subscribes to many newspaper magazines. Library provides many types of open access to E-Resources through the college websites.    

The college sports activities are performed under the in-charge sports officer. The college has a sports room for useful indoor games activities and yoga class activities, and outdoor games facilities available on the college campus (like – Volleyball, Basketball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, etc. Indoor and Outdoor games rooms/court/field is maintained by our college peon and other external labor.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has 5 laboratories which are equipped with the basic equipment facilities. The laboratory equipment is maintained by the lab technician/ lab attendant of the department. The students perform various experiments during practical class timetables under the faculty and lab assistant.

The college has a health center with a student first aid facility.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girl’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a transport facility for students and staff of around 3 km.
