Gracious College of Education, Raipur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Gracious College of Education, Raipur, and thus has become a well-reputed college offering many education and commerce courses. The college has a very broad admission process to select deserving students for the B.Ed, M.Ed, D.El.Ed, and B.Com programs. Gracious College of Education has gained NAAC accreditation and NCTE recognition and has thus ensured that all its admission procedures comply with regulatory conditions put forth by respective bodies. Admission in Gracious College of Education occurs on a merit basis based on marks obtained in the qualifying examinations and/or those in entrance tests. 

This institution further observes fair policies laid down by the government of the state, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated university.  Eligibility varies with regard to the programs. B.Ed. Applicants should have a bachelor's or master's degree with minimum 50% marks; or, in case of having B.E./B.Tech. degree with specializations in mathematics and science, a minimum of 55% marks is needed. D.El.Ed. Applicants need to complete their 10+2 qualification with a minimum of 50% marks. The following qualifications are needed for M.Ed.: B.Ed., B.A.B.Ed., B.Sc.B.Ed., B.El.Ed., or D.El.Ed. with undergraduate degree, each with a minimum of 50% marks.

Application Process

The process of application that is laid down is the most straightforward and grassroots level eligible application to Gracious College of Education, Raipur. A hut with stepwise guidance on the total application process:

1. Notification: College admission notifications are released from the official website and in local newspapers. Candidates are required to be on the lookout for any of these sources regularly.

2. Application Form: Fill out the application form obtained. This may be through the college website online or can also be collected from the college admission office in person.

3. Submission of documents: Along with the duly filled application form, candidates must submit the following documents:

• Marksheets of qualifying exams (10th, 12th, Graduation, Post-graduation as applicable)
• A valid identity proof
• Recent pass-port size photographs
• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Any other document as specified by the college

4. Entrance Examination: Candidates wishing to enter any of the programs requiring an entrance exam must take the entrance test on the specified date. The syllabus and pattern of the entrance exam will be communicated to prospective candidates by the college.

5. List Preparation: The merit list based on the scores in the qualifying examinations and/or the scores obtained in the entrance assessment shall be prepared in accordance with the policies set by the state government and the university.

6. Counselling and Seat Allocation: The selected candidates will be called for counselling, and the allocation of seats will be organized according to merit and choice.

7. Fee Payment: Selected candidates shall be required to pay prescribed fees within the prescriptive time limit to secure their admission.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed.: The B.Ed. program of Gracious College of Education admits around 100 candidates in one academic year. Admission will be strictly by merit in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination results conducted by the institution. The applying procedure will strictly follow government regulations as set by the state, as well as by the affiliated university.

M.Ed.: The M.Ed. program has an approved intake of 50 seats and admission is also based on merit. The candidate's qualifying examination (B.Ed. or equivalent) and/or an entrance test would determine ranks. The college follows the admission policies prescribed by the state government and university.

D.El.Ed.: The D.El.Ed. program consists of 100 seats. The admission process takes into account the marks achieved in the 10+2 examinations and/or by an entrance test. The selection is made after the preparation of the merit list as per government and university norms.
