The Gs College of Education, Shikwahabad, was established in 2009. It is an affiliated college situated in Firozabad, U.P. This co-educational institution is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and the current institution offers specialisation in the field of education only. The college occupies a square area of 1 acre and is currently accommodating 227 students, and has 16 faculty members. GS College of Education has two degree programmes: teacher education and elementary education. This is evident in aspects such as infrastructure, class sizes, tutors’ attitude towards facilitating student needs, and so on.

GS College of Education, located in Shikohabad, Uttar Pradesh, is affiliated with Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra.  It has a number of resources that help to develop and facilitate the process of learning among college students. There is a centrally located first-line library with 17,000 sq. ft. of space, equipped with 6,500 books to support academic learning. The institution also has a modern computer laboratory with all the modern technology of the information age to enhance awareness of students on the new techniques of tackling their lessons. For those students who need it, the college has provided a hostel for both male and female students on the college compound to ensure that the students feel secure while pursuing their studies. GS College of Education offers two full-time courses: The minimum qualifications required for the teaching posts in primary and upper primary are Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed.).
