Guru Harekrushna Behera College of Art and Culture is a college in Balasore district of Odisha with an aim to impart training in art and culture. It was founded in the year 1999 and the college is already a focal institution in the society having provided college education for more than two decades. The college is located on a very limited area of five acres and admission is much competitive for 171 students at present and there are 6 competent and committed members in faculty.

A range of facilities are offered in the college in order to improve the learning experience of students. It is a library which stays as the reference resource centre, providing book and materials for learning and research in academics and art. As the college has realised the role of technology in today’s learning practices, it has employed good Information and Technology facilities, which make sure students get rightfully appropriate ICT aid for their academic use. In order to ensure that visitors are relaxed there is a guest room /waiting room for use. The college also has facilities of a health centre in order to provide first aid services to its students. In particular, Guru Harekrushna Behera College of Art and Culture has male and female hostels where students who want to study in dormitories can live safely.

In other words, since the college is primarily an academic institution, the primary role here is to ensure the students receive quality educational performance in the area of performing arts specialised. The flagship course is the Bachelor of Performing Arts BPA , which is offered as a full time four year course.
