Diploma in Civil Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chandigarh.

Eligibility Criteria

For First year Student: The candidate must have passed the JET / 10th Class Pass with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), Math & English.

2nd year (3rd Semester) Lateral Entry: ITI at least one year and 10th Pass OR Pass in 10+2. Vocational OR 10+2 Non-Medical.

Admission Details

Admission to different courses is made as per eligibility conditions of PSBTE & IT. Admission to various courses will be made strictly on the basis of merit.
Candidates whose results are to be declared late can seek admission in the next higher class provisionally subject to the availability of seat and approval of the PSBTE & IT.
Candidates for admissions to various diploma courses being run in the institutions affiliated to the Board. The syllabus for this test is broadly based upon the syllabus as prescribed for Matriculation Examination. The candidates having passed/appeared in the Matriculation are eligible for the test. However, only those candidates who have cleared the JET and having passed the Matriculation exam (must have passed in Mathematics, Science, and English) are eligible for admission through online counselling conducted Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh.
