Gyanodaya Mahavidyalaya Sagar, was started in the year 2004; affiliated to Sagar University, Sagar M.P is located at Jaisinagar, Sagar. Situated at a phase spread across 2.024 acres of land this institution is committed to offer quality education and training in different fields. The college is affiliated with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognised from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for maintaining high standard education. Having fifty students enroled each class and teaching staff of fifteen members, Gyanodaya Mahavidyalaya presents 3 different courses in various specialisations, creating a vivid learning process.

For the refinement of the general student experience the college encompasses a variety of facilities. Sports people can also enjoy the college sports facilities which includes the laid down beaches while the auditorium will be used for events/ seminars. The library remains a centre of accumulation of information that fosters academic engagement. As for practical learning, the college offers departmental based laboratories. The health of the students is fore-fronted through a health centre that contains first aid facilities. In the line of enhancing the health of the students, the college has a facility of the Gym.

Regarding the admission procedure, it is found that the Gyanodaya Mahavidyalaya has different courses for which admission process differ from one another. These programmes also have entrance tests for admission that is offered by VYAPAM (Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal) for B.Ed and M.Ed. Admission to the D.Ed programme only has merit as criteria where the marks obtained in the qualifying examination or entrance test are taken into consideration as per government of State norms and University norms.
