Haldia Law College which is often referred to as HLC Haldia was established in the year 2002 and it is an institution of Indian Centre for Advancement of Research and Education (ICARE). HLC Haldia courses are offered in a total of 9 specialisations in the disciplines of Law at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the BA LLB Hons, LLB, LLM and PGD degree courses.
For admissions to the undergraduate courses like BA LLB (Hons) and LLB are done based on scores of 10+2 or 10+3 qualifying exams of the candidates. Whereas for admissions at PG level where LLM course is offered, the candidates will be required to have a graduate degree. HLC Haldia college has been approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
