Hi-Tech Institute of Engineering and Management, Bhadrak (HIEM) is an affiliated college situated at Ranital, a subernatorial town of Bhadrak district of Odisha state. Located at N.H-5 Cuttack this institute is dedicated for offering technical education for those who wants to be engineers. AICTE provides accreditation to HIEM so the programs taught at the university meet the national standards of engineering.

HIEM has a number of facilities to support the learning process of its students that will be discussed as follows. College students need a library; it is a source of information where faculty materials and many other books used in college are available. In order to respond to the constantly growing role of technology HIEM has established exquisite IT facilities. This means that students have access to current hardware which is a potential need in the today’s engineering market and develop more computer literate faculty students. Also, the institute maintains modern, departmentalised, scientifically equipped work laboratories. Over all, the institute provides a total of four full time diploma courses and all of these take three years to complete. The admitted ones can take the following Diploma programs, namely, Mechanical Engineering with 120 seats, Electrical Engineering with 120, Civil Engineering with 90 and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering with 30.
