Hislop College, Nagpur, established in 1883, has rightly emerged to be one of the city's oldest affiliated colleges, with a history to be proud of of over 140 years. The college is centrally located in the heart of Nagpur, Maharashtra, and has accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The institute is spread over 7.4 acres of land, offering a variety of academic programs to a body of students totalling 4,272. The faculty strength of the institution is 78 committed educators.
Hislop College, Nagpur, is affiliated with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), Nagpur, and is accredited by NAAC. The institution is very focused on giving the best facilities with regard to the shifting of settings for learning progression by the students. The college is equipped with well-equipped laboratories for hands-on practical sessions and a modern library. Infrastructure is Well Developed. Each Stream has different floor. Like Science was in on 2nd floor and Arts in on 1st. Well maintained Classrooms. Has an Auditorium named Shaloom. HAs a Stage for programs. Separate labs for Practical work. Psychology classroom separate. Administrative area is separate. Overall its a Well maintained institute even though is almost 100years. Started as a school for 30 is now a big college for Junior college and Graduation (Bachelor Degree). It has all necessary Infrastructure and facilities needed and then some more. There is a whole floor dedicated to library it has both books section and reading space. Canteen area is clean and food is hygienic. Quality of food is also great.
