I am currently pursuing B.Sc. biotechnology in Hislop College, Nagpur. The infrastructure is good and meets the academic requirements. Our laboratories are functional and provide us with hands-on experience, especially for core subjects. While there is always scope for modernization, the existing facilities allow us to build strong practical understanding. Facilities like Library, e-library, computer lab, different building for biotechnology and having all the basic experimental set up there with their own library. The chemistry lab set-up is up to mark. They have a hostel for girls in the campus so it is safe and they provide decent food and accommodation. College is clean and washrooms are cleaned daily, contributing to a well maintained college.

I am currently pursuing B.Sc. Biotechnology. My department has a separate building in the college campus with different specialized labs like plant tissue culture lab, animal tissue culture lab and molecular biology lab. The labs are well-equipped with the required instruments and materials, which helps us gain practical exposure. The faculty is supportive and focuses on providing quality education and emphasis on hands-on experience covering both wet lab and dry lab exposure for better placements.

To my knowledge, the overall placement scenario in my college is quite good, with students securing positions in reputable organizations across multiple sectors. The strong alumni network further supports and reflects this success.And the College is very supportive.

In my opinion, the college provides good value for money. The combination of dedicated infrastructure, well-equipped labs, practical exposure, and quality teaching justifies the fees. Overall, it offers a balanced academic experience at a reasonable cost.

Campus life in my college is quite vibrant and well-rounded. We have a variety of cultural and educational events throughout the year, along with active participation in community service initiatives like NSS. These activities help in overall personality development beyond academics.

I genuinely appreciate my college, as it offers everything required for a focused student to gain quality education and overall development.

Yes , my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. My college laboratories have updated machines and equipment and a wifi area for students. The food in the canteen is very hygienic and the space is also very clean.

I'm studying B.Sc because I want to work in the field related to research. The teaching departments are very helpful and smart. Yes , my curriculum is up to date about the field I'm currently studying and it makes me job ready.

The quality of placements at my college is good. Mostly 70-80% students were placed with good amount of salary . The average salary offered was from 15,000 and the placement process was quite pleasant.

Infrastructure is Well Developed. Each Stream has different floor. Like Science was in on 2nd floor and Arts in on 1st. Well maintained Classrooms. Has an Auditorium named Shaloom. HAs a Stage for programs. Separate labs for Practical work. Psychology classroom separate. Administrative area is separate. Overall its a Well maintained institute even though is almost 100years. Started as a school for 30 is now a big college for Junior college and Graduation (Bachelor Degree). It has all necessary Infrastructure and facilities needed and then some more. There is a whole floor dedicated to library it has both books section and reading space. Canteen area is clean and food is hygienic. Quality of food is also great.

Teaching Faculty are very well prepared about their subject. Many of them are scholars of their time. Some have got their books adopted by Nagpur university as part of syllabus. they are their subject expert. Not only that the encourage students for overall development. Many events are Conducted buy Students some under the supervision of teachers. They Include many activities from performance arts to Expos to Literary Recitals. Academically Sound Institution. I studied political science, Psychology and Economics as main three subjects. Teachers for those were well experienced. Psychology and political science faculty taught from books authored by themselves and was adopted by university as part of curriculum. If their are any significant update in the Curriculum or related fields as special lecture is conducted with all available subject mater experts.

I am not aware of the Placement policies and programs. As Placement was not provided for my course. But many from my batch as joined good companies after graduation from the college. There must be placement cell for science graduates bit am not sure.

with respect to the available resources, Infrastructure and facilities I think it was value for money.

Campus is big with students from various states and background. It helps one to grow and experience new things. Many evens are conducted regularly. Student Council helps new students in adopting to new environment. Innovation is appreciated. It is located near "Sitabardi" which is basically the Nagpur city center. So accessibility is not an issue.

College campus is situated in heart of Nagpur city and its very easily accessible. College provides hostel for students who come to study from our of town . Classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern amenities.

I completed my bachelor's degree in business administration from hislop college. It is one of best and reputed college in Nagpur city . Teaching quality is excellent. Teachers are also highly qualified and experienced.

Overall placement is good at hislop college . Almost 60% of the students are placed, unless they fail an exam or want to continue with further studies. A few recruiting companies are: ICICI Bank, IDFC Bank, Aditya Birla, etc.

The infrastructure of this college Is very nice . But there are scopes for improvement . The canteen doesn't have shead which can be improved some old classrooms have bad flores .but everything except these are quite good.

Faculty of each and every stream are brilliant and teach excellently. All the students are getting the best education under the guidance of the best teachers . High quality education is also accompanied by high quality education technology.

Good companies come for the placements. Students get to do the internships with various profound companies .our skill development cells and placement cells makes students knowledge to qualify the tests and the requirements.

Our institute doesn't ask for any extra fees for anything .

The campus life is extremely fun in our college I really enjoy being a part of this institute.

Hislop College Is the oldest college in Nagpur and since then it has maintained its reputation and it's values. Proud to be a part of this great institute.

The college building was very good and premises was very clean. College building has sufficient classroom and a well maintained library. Washrooms were sufficient and well cleaned. College maintained a good garden and proper greenery was there to give fresh environment

Teachers were easily approachable. We used to visit them whenever we needed some help. Their way of teaching made everything easy and they used to provide proper notes for everything. Good study equipments are available

I had to do my post graduation as well so didn't go for placements so I don't have personal experience related to placements but I have heard that college provides good opportunities and students get placed in good organisations.

Yes my course was worth the money I paid, I provided me the knowledge about my subjects and it also gave me some real life experiences. I enjoyed my time in college so my course was good and I can say it provided value to my money

They focus on activities and events also but they focus more on academic knowledge and less on practical knowledge. But overall the college is good and it also has hostel facilities available. Sports are also considered important

The is well developed and it is too clean, It also has a beautiful flower garden and a big ground. It almost has all the facilities over there right from the canteen to the playground to the parking area, It also has a huge library, auditorium labs, and almost everything.is

The academic curriculum is also well-managed, It has all streams right from commerce, science, art, law everything. For doing under graduation, According to me its the best college as all the faculties are also very supportive and knowledgeable and experienced.

Around 70-80% of students are placed in the industry, with an average package of 7 lacks per annum. Companies like TCS, Infosys, HCL, etc. come for placement drive and for the top roles. Highest package is around 12-13 lakhs and lowest is around 5 lakhs.

Campus life is also very amazing. It includes many events and functions that are student-driven which is the best part.

It is british construction so the buildings are old. But the campus is very green and they have labelled all the trees planted in the campus. Personally, I like the vibe. The library has a lot of books. The washroom and waiting rooms are spacious.

The teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable. I am not so sure about the lectures overall as I was a not attending student. But i know that they used to conduct seminars for the students. I have attended some of those and they were helpful and intresting.

Do not expect too much in terms of placements. They do have a very active placement cell though. But do not expect a high paying salary offer. But the teachers give you opportunities and tell you to apply whenever they get to know of any vacancies.

The fee structure is very minimal and affordable.

As i mentioned above, the campus is decent and ancient. Personally, I like the vibe of the area. It's very green and clean. Besides tere are cafes near the campus, so that's good. it is also located next to chitnavis park.
