Yes , as college havea Hislop College Nagpur Maharashtra have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment like classroom , electricity, water, washroom, library, sports center, laboratories.
I was a Commerce student for bachelor degree and the quality of teachers as a knowledge is good but department staff behaviour is not good... In the college teacher is very lazy for classes. Overall good
In the college we don't provide any placement at the college. Even we don't have any notification or knowledge about the placement during the college ..... Overall placement is very poor at college..,.
In the Hislop College have 2011-2014 course cost very low arround 8k-10000
In the Hislop College campus - it's worst features, but college location is good and safe.
No
Hislop college has a really appreciable large infrastructure, Which consists of a wide campus area, Indoor play space, auditorium. Audiovisual room, Botanical Garden, Playground, Cafeteria, Gymnasium, Skill development lab, library spread in a large area, e-Library, and newly furnished classrooms and offices. One thing that I like most about the campus is the greenery they maintain and security systems ar satisfactory. The college provides a Girls hostel facility too.
I currently passed out from this college and my experience here was really good, They provided a decent education in affordable fees plus department helps students to join internship. Faculties are really qualitative and disciplined here. This college is in the list of one of the tops in Nagpur city.
Hislop college have agreement with many big companies and thus staff helps students to get an internship in that company. Actually this college has pretty well goodwill and maintains its position in top college as well. Though I haven't applied but I have seen many graduated bachelor's placed in well-known companies or firms.
Worth it! My fees for pursuing B.com were Rs.10,000 under the non-granted category and facilities provided and opportunities I got from there were really worth. For granted students, the fees charged by this college is the only Rs. 3000. I would recommend students to join if their scores before admission are good.
Campus life was wonderful. This college gives a vibe of a friendly environment. Guards, Gateman, Parking attendant, etc. were really polite and helped out their best when I was new in the college. I came around great people and quality friends on this campus.
Nothing much!
Hislop College, is the oldest college in Nagpur, established in 1883 by a Scottish evangelist and educationist Stephen Hislop. As far as infrastructure is concerned, it has all the basic facilities and a decent infrastructure. But nothing exceptionally remarkable. The library does not have a wide range of literature apart from the ones prescribed in the syllabus of the cources offered here, classes are tiny and often not the cleanest. But everything's passable.
I'm currently pursuing Bachelor's in Arts degree, I'm a final year student, majoring in English literature and Psychology. I'd say teachers are pretty good and informative but their communication with the students and their ability to totally engage the whole class is below average. The assignments don't get checked ( because too many students), and there isn't much space to experiment here. The syllabus is age old bland and it requires bare minimum efforts to pass the exam.
The chances of you getting placed after completing any course from here is coarse. And especially when you take Arts as your bachelor's field, you'd suffer more. The college, for most students is just a stepping stone for the other, better college they aspire to join. Stand alone it doesn't mean that much.
The fees is not as high for most of the courses offered by Hislop college. Yearly fees for Arts cost me around 5000/- excluding many minor things they extract money for like gym, flag day, icard, parking etc.
Campus is average, as all things here. There are a few activities students can engage in (if they're active enough otherwise you'd not have a clue about what's happening) Hislop college is known for taking sports seriously and wins many titles there. Staff is rigid and hard to talk to. The location is one of the safest in Nagpur and it's conveniently located. Bullying is not a part of Hislop's culture at all.
