48 MonthsBachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) is a four-year full-time course offered by the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Qualification Required: 10+2/Class or equivalent examination from a recognized board/university.
- Minimum Marks Required: 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category candidates). This can vary from college to college.
- Age Limit: Age Limit for the BHMCT program varies from college to college; for most colleges, the age limit is up to 22 years.
Admission Details
Admission to the BHMCT course is provided on the basis of entrance exams. The national-level entrance exam conducted for BHMCT admissions is NCHMCT JEE (National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam). The NCHMCT JEE or NCHM JEE is mainly conducted for admission to the IHMs. The score of NCHM JEE is also accepted for admission by many other colleges. Some colleges also offer direct admission to candidates on the basis of Class 12th merit.
