Aryabhatta Knowledge University is an Open University which is associated with the University Grants Commission. The university mainly focuses on providing technical education. It also offers medical and management related courses. The university comprises four schools, namely Centre for River Studies, Centre for Geographical Studies, Patliputra School of Economics and the Centre for Journalism & Mass Communication.
