Indian Statistical Institute Pune offers admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Indian Statistical Institute Pune admissions into BStat are based on the two written tests comprising multiple-choice type and descriptive questions in Mathematics at the 10+2 level. ISI Pune MStat admissions are given based on the written test and followed by an interview process. 

Written test for the BStat programme at the Indian Statistical Institute Pune is waived off for applicants who have been selected as INMO AWARDEES to participate in the International Mathematics Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) in the current year or in any previous year. ISI Pune admissions are offered to full-time courses.

• Fill the application form with relevant information.

• Scan and upload the documents if necessary.

• Submit the application form with the application form fee. 

B.Stat is the undergraduate programme that is offered at ISI Pune. Based on students' performance in the Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO) conducted by the National Board of Higher Mathematics, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, ISI Pune admissions are offered for the students whose written test is waived off. Application forms should be submitted within the prescribed time frame.

ISI Pune BStat Admission Process

• Online applications are accepted from the students who meet the ISI Pune admission requirements. 

• Applicants are required to appear for the written tests conducted by the institute.

• Based on the scores acquired in the written test, applicants are shortlisted. 

• Contenders shortlisted on merit are advised to appear for the interview process.

• Based on the student's performance in the ISI Pune interview process, applicants are allotted seats.

• ISI Pune course fee should be paid by the students to get the seats reserved.

• To prove the authenticity of their credentials, applicants are advised to get their documents verified to get the ISI Pune admission confirmed. 

M.Stat is the postgraduate programme that is offered at ISI Pune. To be eligible for admission to this programme, an applicant must have a three-year Bachelor’s degree or a BE/B Tech degree with Statistics as a subject, or a B Math degree from ISI, or a Post-Graduate Diploma in Statistical Methods and Analytics from ISI. Students with a B Stat (Hons) degree from ISI are offered direct admission to this programme without any selection test or interview.

• Aspirants are advised to appear for the written exam conducted by the institute.

• Applicants are advised to acquire merit in the exam.

• Merit students are shortlisted for the ISI Pune interview process.

• ISI Pune seats are reserved for the students who pay the ISI Pune course fee.

• ISI Pune admission committee will finalise the admissions for the selected students.
