Indira Priyadarshini Government Degree College is for Women, Medak district was established in the year 2008 is one of the premier institutions in the state of Telangana especially for Women Education. This is a government college in Nampally of Hyderabad where many general degree courses in various streams are taught for the undergraduate students. The college occupies a total of 5 acres of land which is conducive to students’ learning environment. The institution currently serves 133 students through 4 employed educators, as of the opening day. With 40 courses spread across 4-degree programmes, the college focuses on the three major fields, Arts, Commerce, and Science, to meet the educational requirements of women in the region.

The college also provides a BBA programme for the students who wants to take up business administration. It enables students to pick an extremely diverse type of orientation with regards to specialisations they desire to achieve.
