Admission to IHM Delhi, Pusa is done on the basis of rank of the candidate in NCHM JEE exam. The cutoff required for admission varies every year depending on various factors. Cutoff also varies category wise.

IIHM basically provides u an international degree in hotel management which is a plus point according to many people but then let me tell u a government certificate matters more if u need a job at any hotels in India which IHMs gives… so if u are planning to have a job in India it would be difficult for u. Then u might be thinking that it’s good,thenyou ll get the opportunity to work in foreign that’s true but just think without any experience y would any hotel hire you..just because u are having international degree it’s not possible

Talking of IHM

1- Government institution thereby having comparatively low fees than the private institutions

2- In India government certificate matters more thereby u can easily get the job anywhere in India

3- If u are having experience of working in top hotel chains u can easily shift to foreign countries where u will paid more

In short I am just telling that both the institutions are good and bad in their own ways my point is y to pay more when your starting salary would be around 15k whether u study from IHMs or IIHMs

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) conducts the IHM Joint Entrance Exam (IHM JEE) - usually on the last Saturday of April, every year.

You need to clear an exam called NCHMCT JEE with a rank not less than 500 if you are a candidate of the general category.

Based on the rank of the candidate, the student can get admission to the IHMs including the one at Pusa.

Aspirants applying for the college must keep in mind that the admission is strictly on the merit-based. To get admission in IHM Pusa the applying seekers will have to clear NCHMCT JEE entrance examination conducted by the NCHMCT Committee.

Applying must full fill all the required Eligibility Criteria made under the admission Guidelines.

Placements :

IHM Pusa ranks top 1 in India by the Outlook magazine. Obviously, the placements will be good. There are 3 levels of jobs that are offered by the companies, OT (operational trainee), MT (management trainee) and CT (corporate trainee). OT is the lowest and CT is the highest level of jobs.
