Admission procedure:

B.Sc. (H & HA) Course:

Admissions in the 3-year B.Sc. course are done based upon the rank one gets in the All-India Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) conducted by NCHMCT, Noida every year. The forms are available from December which can be filled and submitted, online and in the Institutes as well. The JEE takes place in the third or fourth week of April followed by the results in the third week of May. There are three rounds of counseling under which choice filling takes place online. Once you get the college that you want, you must go to the college and do the documentation. Once the documentation is done & the Fees paid; the academic session begins in the third week of July.

2. Craftsmanship Course in Food Production and Patisserie:

Applications are invited by individual affiliated Institute of Hotel Management through advertisement in leading local newspapers released during the month of June each year and selection made through a transparent selection process.

Eligibility Criteria:

B.Sc.(H & HA) Course:

For a student to be eligible to give the JEE, there is some minimum requirement that he needs to fulfill; which is:

Candidate should be +2 pass or equivalent with English as one of the subjects.

Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE on a provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand canceled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counseling or at the time of admission. The offer of admission is subject to verification of original certificates/documents at the time of admission. If any candidate is found ineligible at a later date even after admission to an institute, his/her admission will stand canceled.

2. Craftsmanship Course in Food Production and Patisserie:

The diploma program equips students in the basic areas of specialization and institutes to provide hands-on training to students in the institute kitchens and laboratories. For a student to be eligible to apply for the craftmanship course in Food Production, he needs to fulfill the following criteria:

Candidate should be 10th pass with English as a compulsory subject
Candidate should be less than 25 years of age for GEN/ OBC candidate, and 28 years of age for SC/ST candidate

What are the fees of IHM pusa, Delhi and IHM Mumbai?

Dear Rahul,

Well the admission fees should cost you about 40–45k and the semester wise fees should cost you about 32–36k. The odd semester usually costs higher. Hostel fees should cost you around 15–20k.

which is better IHM goa or iihm kollkata

IHM Goa is government and IIHM kolkata is private.so there is main difference in fees.both have good infrastructure .if you are from northern India then you should prefer kolkata.it is much better than Goa.

i have got 9823 rank in ihm from obc category can i get ihm chennai in second round of councelling?

HI Mudit,

Last year the cut off went up to around rank 17000 for OBC category. Therefore there are high chances of you getting admitted in IHM Chennai.

Which insitute is better shim jodhpur or ihm kurukshetra

Hello dear, i h m Kurukshetra is an Autonomous Institute jointly sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India...on my views ihm is more better than shim jodhpur...

Cuz of its good infrastructure and faculty staff and itsitranking is also decent....

At AIR 3, you can get any IHM that you want. You can definitely get admission in IHM Pusa, which is the top hotel management institution in India.

According to this there are less chances of getting admission in ihm banglore. though you can try getting seat there just cintact the college and they will provide tou the information regarding htheir eligibility and admission procedure.all the best. Have a great future ahead.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is alright compared to a government college but some things need renovations and i have heard it is being done. Hopefully it would be completed soon and the college would have better infrastructure than before

College Infrastructure

IHM Pusa has a decent infrastructure, College auditorium is good but the classes are not that well maintained, that can be a point of improvement. Kitchens, Bakery, Restaurant of college is fine and has all necessary equipment’s to help students understand.

IHM pusa is best for practical knowledge and placements

Infrastructure is best of IHM Pusa . It provides best quality of classrooms and practical rooms. Wifi speed is good and well - maintained . Food provided by IHM pusa is Hygienic and the living spaces is clean .
