The Faculty of Management Studies, Institute of Rural Management (FMS-IRM), Jaipur, was established in 1988 by the Society of Indian Institute of Rural Management, Jaipur (SIIRM). It is affiliated to AICTE, MoHRD, Govt. of India. FMS-IRM is offering two years full-time postgraduate diploma programme leading to the academic award of PGDM and PGDM-RM (Rural Management). FMS-IRM has developed the discipline of Rural Management and Rural Marketing which are emerging trend in corporate and development.

Anti Ragging Committee: The committee makes sure there is no ragging happening on the campus. The committee regularly aware the students about the harms of ragging on socio-emotional development. The committee ensures compliance with the provisions of the regulations as well as the provisions of the law concerning ragging is in force. It also monitors and oversees the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the institution. The committee makes sure there is no ragging happening on the campus.

Candidates seeking admission to PGDM/PGDM-RM, have to submit their application online.
They have to appear for IRMAT (Institute of Rural Management AptitudeTest).
IRMAT is an independent, in-house evaluation test, which is conducted to measure the competences and knowledge base of the candidates.
IRMAT is comprised of online entrance test, group discussion and persona interview.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the cumulative score of IRMAT.
Management and Business Administration (P.G.D.M)
Institute of Rural Management has the facilities of the library, hostel, computer lab, sports and medical facilities. The details of these facilities are given below:
Library: The library of IRM has a vast collection of volumes, which includes textbooks and reference books. It has computerized all its housekeeping activities using Library software. This enables users in searching and availing the library resources. The library is computeriSed and equipped with DELNET, J-Gate facility.
Hostel: IRM provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Hostels are provided in the form of apartments. It is managed by students on a co-operative basis. Modern facilities are provided at the hostel.

IIRM Hyderabad is a joint initiative by State Govt. of Telangana and IRDAI which provides MBA and PGD courses. Top recruiters of 2019 were IBM, Wells Fargo, HDFC Bank, Mahindra Insurance, CGI, TATA AIG Insurance and many more. In 2019 the highest package was 8.5 LPA and average package was 5.5 LPA. It also provides internships during the course to provide industry insights to students.

Yes IIRM Hyderbabad is a decent college for pursuing MBA. The placements are good as well, all you need is to master your speaking skills, grammar skills, vocabulary and the academic performances. The CMAT cutoff for this college was close to 95 percentile last year.
