Anand Agricultural University, one of the constituent colleges, is the International Agribusiness Management Institute, situated in Anand, Gujarat. This unique, specialized institution was founded in 2008 to cultivate the emerging leaders in the agribusiness field. The area of this campus is a mere 1.51 acres, ensuring that there will be a proper atmosphere of study among the students numbering 70 enroled. The institute possesses a good faculty-to-student ratio, with 10 faculty members catering to 70 students, thereby ensuring proper care and quality education.

The facilities available make the student experience with IABMI quite different. Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided in the Institute, which makes life quite comfortable to live in and pursue academics. The library of this college is quite a serviceable resource center besides aiding in one's research and studies. All this amalgamates into providing holistic learning beyond classrooms. 

IABMI is a full-time management institute that designs academic programs in accordance with the rising needs of the agri-business sector. The Institute currently offers two full-time programmes: a two-year MBA in Agribusiness Management and a three-year Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management. The MBA programme, aims to train graduates to work in the existing vibrant and dynamic field of Agribusiness. The Ph.D. course is designed for those who want to go further in research and advanced studies in innovating the field and expertize it further.  

Admission to IABMI is highly competitive in nature. Thus, the institute follows a selection process for admitting students into the PhD Programme. The first step involves shortlisting eligible candidates out of the received applications, the list of which is displayed on the website of Anand Agricultural University and Gujarat State Agricultural Universities Common Admission. They are then invited to appear for an entrance test. The final merit list is prepared by giving 50:50 weight to the entrance test score and the performance of the candidate at his post-graduation degree.
