Ira Education Society’s College of Education, Arvi, started in 2006, is an affiliated college situated in Pune, Maharashtra. A co-educational institution is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for providing quality education in the field wanted. Campus-wise, the college is located on a small piece of land measuring an area of 1 acre; however, the college at present has a total student population of 184 and a tenured faculty stock of 16 members. The institute provides only one course of study, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), which aims at producing professional teachers of the future. The college has features that are intended to improve the overall learning environment of the students. 

The library is 1000 sq. ft. with a collection of over 3500 books, 86 reference books, and 25 national and international journals. It will also give a spacious readers’ hall for 100 students. Like the physical facility, the information technology facility is also very adequate for the institution that is equipped with a modern computer laboratory with nineteen computers and a printer to enable the students to undertake practical computer-related assignments and project development. Ira Education Society’s College of Education has boys'  and girls’ hostels, health facilities, first aid, playing grounds, a dining hall and kitchen, dining facilities, and an auditorium. The college also has a training and placement cell, which helps the students with their placements and careers. 

A single course is offered at the Ira Education Society’s College of Education, Arvi, with the conventionally recognised name of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme. It is a two-year full-time course with an approved number of students intake being 100. Students who complete the B.Ed. programme are well prepared to take on a career path of becoming teachers with all possible knowledge that is required to perform the job efficiently. The college has a total of 184 students, and enrolment was consistent in both years of the programme.
