SND College of Education at Babhulgaon which was set up in 2004, is one of the pioneers in teacher education started under Jagdamba Education Society. This college for boys and girls is situated in Yeola Taluka, Nashik District, Maharashtra and is an affiliating college accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college occupies a 5.78 acre land and has two degree programmes in education. SND college of education is another affiliated college with a total student intake of 268 and a faculty of 18 students. It has an approved annual capacity of one hundred for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme , and fifty for the Master of Education (M.Ed) programme. Both programmes take two years for completion and offer course-content and skills needed to excel in teaching and educational administration. The programmes pursued at this college enable the consistent and intensive preparation of students for teachers for the conditions necessary for the modern school.
