Jagruti Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya was established in 1990. The college is affiliated and situated in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. It occupies an area of 4 acres of land and is devoted to teacher education, approved by the NCTE. Quality affirmation has been sought by NAAC for this college as well. Jagruti Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya can currently cater to 39 students with a faculty strength of 5. The college boasts of an intimate learning space for future educators. 

A collection of facilities that are oriented towards the upgrade of the experience of students and their academic journey is offered to the students. For practical training, Jagruti Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya has well-equipped laboratories.
