Jakir Hossain Institute of Pharmacy, Murshidabad, was founded in the year 2015. This affiliated college is located in Miapur, Murshidabad, West Bengal, spread over a compact 2.07-acre campus, the institute has been approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and the All India Council for Technical Education, thus ensuring high standards of education that will bring better industry exposure. With an enrolment of 120 students and 12 faculty members, the institute enables a concentration of study in this region for aspiring pharmacists.

Both programs are full-time and designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge in the subjects related to pharmaceutical sciences with a practical orientation. The D. Pharma course has an approved intake of 60 students per annum.
