Jawaharlal Nehru Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Nagpur, was established in the year 1990. It is the most prestigious institution of higher education in the state of Maharashtra. This college is a government-aided institute that is affiliated with Nagpur University. The institute offers wide-ranged academic courses in the areas of arts, commerce, and science. Its compact campus occupies an area of 2 acres. Today, 1,160 students are enrolled here. With 18 dedicated educators on our faculty, we take proud place amongst the best of the lot, unflinchingly committed to quality education, accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The four-degree programmes offered at the college cater to the various academic interests and career aspirations of students. The college boasts of providing an all-round learning environment in conjunction with a range of facilities that would augment the student experience. The college library is the heart of academic resources, expanding impressively from a modest collection of 150 books at inception to more than 9,151 volumes, 340 bound journals, and a wealth of academic materials, including theses, dissertations, and past examination papers from RTM Nagpur University. For practical learning, the college has equipped departmental laboratories. An auditorium inside campus avenue also makes arrangements for any events and seminars, thus lively academia and culture.
Schemes like the canteen and health centre, along with first-aid facilities and sophisticated IT infrastructure, cater to the students. For integrated development, the college provides sports facilities along with a gym, where students can follow physical fitness combined with academics. Not like it
College Infrastructure
I didn’t like the infrastructure much. Many classrooms have fans not working properly. Labs have old equipment and even broken stuff sometimes. Wi-Fi rarely works well. Library is big but very dusty and half the time no one is there to help.

The overall infrastructure is quite fine. Classrooms are good size and most have projectors, though sometimes they don’t work properly. Labs are decent and have enough equipment but few machines are old. Library is spacious with a lot of books, though the number of digital resources is limited. The campus is kept clean mostly. There's a small garden which is relaxing.
