JMD Institute of Nursing Gandhinagar, is a private college established in 2018. It is recognised by the Gujarat Nursing Council and the Government of Gujarat. Students can apply for courses at the diploma and undergraduate levels. Courses offered by JMD Institute of Nursing include GNM, BSc Nursing, and Post Basic BSc Nursing. 

JMD Institute of Nursing is affiliated with Gujarat University Ahmedabad. The eligibility criteria for all the courses are different. For GNM, candidates require a 10+2 examination with 40% aggregate score, with English as a compulsory subject. To qualify for the BSc Nursing course, candidates must complete a 10+2 examination with 45% aggregate score and qualify individually in PCB and English. For students interested in studying Post-Basic BSc Nursing, they must hold a GNM degree.

The admissions process is based on the performance of the candidates in the past-qualifying examinations.
